Wild in Willacy 5K Run/Walk & 1-Mile Fun Run

Please join the Raymondville Chamber of Commerce as we kick off our Wild in Willacy festivities with the Wild in Willacy Run/Walk! This will be an all-ages, family-friendly, pet-friendly event! Bring the whole family out as we celebrate our beloved community festival! Our mission at the Chamber is, and always has been, to assist in business development, quality of life projects for our communities, being a voice for businesses and to promote tourism to our area. We hope this event will do just that as we invite runners, walkers & everyone in between to visit Raymondville for a morning of fitness & stay for a full day of music, cookoffs, games and more!

Race Details

5K Fun Run/Walk • Oct. 19 @ 8:00 AM • Willacy County Historical Musuem

Our 5K route will begin in front of the Historical Musuem. Participants will head south on 7th Street (Business 77) and continue south toward the Raymondville Municipal Golf Course. Participants will approach their first water station at Sunset Avenue, then continue south. At the edge of the golf course, participants will approach their second water station, which will serve as a turnaround point. Participants will then head north and return to the Historical Musuem. Participants are encouraged to utilize the Sunset Avenue water station if needed on the way back. The run/walk will conclude at the Historical Museum where participants can gather for post-race refreshments and medals (while supplies last.)

At Sunset Avenue, participants will approach a water station, which will serve as a turnaround point. Participants will then head north and return to the Historical Musuem. Here, the run/walk will conclude where participants can gather for post-race refreshments and medals (while supplies last.)
